Brush and dustpan? Surely it's Dustpan and Brush

It infuriates me that DH says Brush and Dustpan. Tell me I'm right and the correct way round is Dustpan and brush

Always been dustpan and brush Mind you, I can't stand it when people talk about hoovering and hoovers when they don't possess a hoover and are actually vacuuming.

I have a friend who says "it's all good and well" instead of "it's all well and good" - grrrrd!!

Where's he from? I live in East Anglia and a lot of people say 'brush and dustpan'. Including me.
