Sorry I know there are plenty threads on this topic but just wanted more recent opinions.
If you have had a breast augmentation/boob job, did the risks scare you, do they still scare you ?
Are you glad you had it done?
Any regrets?
Ive booked mine for a few weeks time and the fear is starting to kick in!!

No advice all I will say is big boobs are out and small boobs are in

At the moment it's all about the BUTT
And the lips

Just remember trends come and go

If your doing it due to mental health then that's a diff story

Honestly? Yes, I was scared but it was fine and they've largely been fine since, really the best case scenario. But I do regret it. If I could go back in time, I would not have done it. I just don't like them and at times have been ashamed of them and of having had them done.

I'd be horrified if my daughter wanted to do this to herself. I know my mother would be upset if she knew, we've never discussed it.

It's not for size I'm getting small ones it's for fullness I've got 2 deflated balloons here!!

Yes, the risks do scare me, which is one of many reasons I'd never have this done. Your breasts are right on your chest, which contains some pretty vital organs. Why would you mess around with that?

The trend will pass, your body will age anyway and it will not always look as it does when you first have it done.

The best thing is to try and love your body as it is, including all its imperfections and all its saggy glory. It's not easy, I put effort into it every day.

A boob job is not going to fix your body confidence issues.

I simply can't wrap my head around why anyone would do this to themselves. You are beautiful as you are.

I had mine done at 18 and I’ve never regretted it. I recently got them replaced and it was absolutely fine. What risks is it that you’re worried about? The only thing I was nervous about first time was the GA as I’d never had one before. Recovery was absolutely fine too - I was sore for about a month in total but it was never unbearable and nothing compared to how I felt after my c section.

Good luck, I’m sure it will all go really well.

I had mine done nearly 20 years ago, went from less than AA to D. Have never regretted it although I wish I'd gone just a touch smaller as I was aiming for a C cup. Have never had any issues with mine and they look natural.

WillThisUsernameDo · 25/11/2021 17:06

@cookiemonster2468 there are loads of reasons why women would do this. I had tubular breasts - if you don’t know what they are do a quick Google search. I was not beautiful with my breasts the way they were naturally and I self harmed and was suicidal about them. It absolutely fixed my body confidence issues and I now love how I look. It’s very easy to call people shallow and tell them they’ll never be satisfied but many, many people are satisfied with their surgery, particularly if it’s something they’ve wanted for a long time.

This was my experience too. I had them done when I was 22 or 23 having wanted them for years. Thankfully everything went fine with the surgery, but after a while I just felt really uncomfortable with them, struggled to sleep on my side, and my body didn't feel like mine anymore.
I started to really hate that I had these foreign objects in my body and became quite self conscious about them.I never even got a really big size or anything, but I started to cover them up.

Anyway I eventually had them removed, I think it was about 5 years later, and thankfully I only have minimal scarring, My natural breasts took a while to bounce back but they are ok now, a bit flatter than they would have been but I'm much happier and ironically far more confident with them.

Have you thought of a breast uplift or something OP? It would mean perkier boobs but without foreign objects that you have to worry about.

Mainly breast implant illness

In my opinion, the very real, very serious risks involved with breast implants are in no way worth it. We all age, and so will your breasts, with or without implants.
