I’ve recently tried Reece’s, and absolutely adore the things. I’ve now taken to melting them, and putting the melted Reece’s between toast as a toastie. DD hates me for it but she eats salt and vinegar Pringles and dips them in tomato soup.

Potato waffles with American burger cheese on top, melted under the grill. Nothing beats it

ThanksMateThanksMate · 25/11/2021 00:24

Walkers cheese and onion ate simultaneously with Cadbury's Dairy Milk.

Following in the Supernoodle theme: Toasted garlic bread slices (not the ones from a baguette but the toaster slice size ones if that makes sense) topped with super noodles (chicken or bbq beef) and some grated cheese. Maybe some sriracha sauce if I want a bit of spice. Carb heaven!

Also just a really good cheese and onion toasted sandwich with a ton of ready salted crisps or roast beef monster munch on the side.

HotMess21 · 25/11/2021 00:40

Baked beans and salad cream.

JockTamsonsBairns · 25/11/2021 02:45

Mild cheddar cheese, tomato, and salad cream in between two slices of Warbuton's white bread. Food of the gods.

Da1sycha1n · 25/11/2021 04:45

Some of these are amazing!

Mine is Crunchy Nut Cornflakes (well, Aldi version) stirred in to custard rather than served with milk.

And this week I've discovered caster sugar on hot buttered toast. Im sure granulated would work, but caster makes it a bit like a doughnut/fairy bread.

Wish I didn't have such a sweet tooth, some of the savouries on here sound so good 😊

Maskless · 25/11/2021 05:11

Ordinary sausages, fried then allowed to go cold, eaten with a bite of cheddar per mouthful.

Ready salted crisps with vinegar sprinkled over each.

Baked potato with loads of butter, topped with tuna/grated cheddar/mayo/diced red pepper/diced spring onion all mashed up together.

Reese's peanut butter cups. I'm addicted to them.

Wensleydale with mango and ginger cheese. Only available at Morrisons. I eat a whole packet every week,. Heaven.

caketiger · 25/11/2021 05:23

Ridged prawn cocktail crisps scooping full fat philadelphia cheese. Tart and crunchy meets creamy

TwoAndCooPlease · 25/11/2021 05:29

Dita73 · 25/11/2021 05:42

Custard Creams dipped in Nutella

Not any wonder why there is an epidemic of heart disease, diabetes and obesity when factory produced junk food features so highly in MNers and their dc's favourite food preferences Shock

OhGiveUp · 25/11/2021 05:52

@Tarne I don't think it's something that they're sat eating every day of the week!
Hence the guilty pleasure title.

sammylady37 · 25/11/2021 06:24

White chocolate buttons mixed with milk chocolate buttons, zapped in the microwave for 40 seconds and washed down with ice cold milk

The title of this thread isn't '20 healthy everyday meal ideas for my misunderstood 'big boned' children.

It's literally about good you eat as a guilty pleasure!

Egghead68 · 25/11/2021 06:43

Tip a bag of chocolate buttons into a bag of crisps

Tarne · 25/11/2021 07:06

It is interesting that industrial food producers has honed into western taste buds to such a degree that people actually believe it's delicious out of industrial slurry and byproducts by adding sweeteners and flavourings with baking, dehydration or frying.

An amazing feat of our modern times Shock

startrek90 · 25/11/2021 08:13

With the greatest of respect, I don't think you understand the thread Tarne this thread is about things people know they shouldn't eat but enjoy anyway every once in a while.

As to the op my guilty pleasure is also supernoodle sandwiches or fishfinger sandwiches or corned beef sandwiches.

Sandwiches. Just sandwiches really :)

DontTellThemYourNamePike · 25/11/2021 08:36

I used to love tuna and ketchup sandwiches when I was in my teens. My mum was horrified. I haven't had them in years. Must relive my youth.

My friend used to rave about Mars bar sandwiches and brought them to school as a treat once in a while. I was sceptical. I tasted one. And .... just no!

autumnapplepicking · 25/11/2021 08:38
@autumnapplepicking you might enjoy mine:

Hot buttered toast, topped with
A crispy fried egg
Kimchi
Handful grated cheddar

Stick this all under the grill, then top with sliced spring onions, coriander and sesame seeds.
Ooo yes please 😊

Blackmagicqueen · 25/11/2021 09:26

@Tarne where do people say they eat this everyday? Moderation and all that... Hmm

shumway · 25/11/2021 09:51

Pita chips dipped in Saint Agur blue creme.

Vulcanodon · 25/11/2021 09:59

Scrambled egg, all the cheese, soy sauce and kimchi

Fl0w3ry · 25/11/2021 11:13
