Said he’s thinking of sending her a message

Said we should go and visit her (a few hours away)

Sending me screenshots of things she’s posted, saying how cool

As everyone else has said, I'd suspect he's attracted to her and not even bothering to hide it. He's either not bright enough to realise how obvious he is or he doesn't care if you notice and end things with him.
