I would like a playlist to play really loud when we put our Christmas decorations up next month. So I thought, what better place to ask then MN? What are your favourite Xmas songs? I need ideas to create a playlist - thank you all!

Merry Christmas, Everyone by Shakin' Stevens, obviously! In fact, most Christmas songs up to 1989! Just don't play Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas Is You. For some reason, I really, really dislike that song!

I love a lot of these already, especially Mike Oldfield's In Dulce Jubilo and Frankie Goes To Hollywood's The Power Of Love (it is for Christmas - that beautiful video makes it so).

I haven't seen "I Believe In Father Christmas" by Greg Lake, yet.
Nor "Ding dong, ding dong" by George Harrison.
