Why don’t you all have an ad blocker? I’m the least techy person anywhere and thought for years that they would be complicated or costly. Then I read so many posts here saying ‘get an ad blocker’, it was un-ignorable. Free download on my phone, can’t even remember what it’s called. But no ads now.

Gone on mine but no advert either, just giant waste space now.

I had a an ad blocker but it stopped some websites working properly so I turned it off.

The trending box is causing some issues on our talk pages so we've taken it down temporarily while we fix it. You will still be able to see it on the homepage and content pages.

Yep it’s gone on my iPad along with ‘I’m on’ etc buttons. Last week I had nothing but Christmas, a topic I have never posted on or read.

That huge WhatsApp ad that keeps opening up whenever I scroll down or open a thread is annoying too.

Thought it was just me. I was looking at my settings just before I read this. Really don't want the ads!
