AIBU to ask if your child has had the flu nasal spray yet?

Just realised that we filled in the permission slips ages ago for the nasal spray yet nothing has been done about it. I know there have been issues with the roll out because of Covid vaccines etc and I'm just wondering what the picture is like elsewhere.

About six weeks ago. They were done before we even heard about the Covid vaccine, which was subsequently done two weeks later.

School rolled it out the week after half term and 1 of my DC had it at the Gp surgery as she was unwell when school did it.

I called DD's primary last week as I was beginning to wonder if she'd some how missed out as we filled forms in September. It's due the first week of December.

We had permission slips for it to happen in October, then a message to say it was delayed until mid-December. (Secondary.)

My DD's was done in October - we did not get the usual information sheet home, so I asked in her home/school diary and they confirmed it was done and then last week we got an email from the NHS confirming it had been done.

sleepy if your child has a chronic health condition that entitles them to the flu vaccine irrespective of age, the GP surgery should be doing it as they are contracted to do so. Shouldn't be mopping up 'healthy' children missed in school, but those with a health condition then absolutely they can.

My eldest is having it this week either Wednesday or Thursday. DC2 had it a few weeks ago but that was at the doctors not school.

No ours has just been cancelled. Supposed to be 24/25. No idea when it will be done now.
