I’ve just been reading through the free articles on apple news and because my kids adore Tom Holland I thought I’d open and have a look. Sheesh, he’s adopted a look straight out of the book of men my mother would tell me to avoid. The kind of men that would feel the chat line “get your coat, you’ve pulled” was fab. I’m 52 and to be honest if you worn born after 1983 you’ve probably never come across this sort of ‘look and this has no relevance to you, but if you’re older - do you agree??? It’s weird how fashions come around again and again, so whilst my kids think something is ultra fashionable I might think my granny would have worn it. So whatever else this is not a comment on Tom Holland’s fashion sense cos if he’s in GQ then presumably he’s been attired appropriately, but bloody hell he looks like a wide boy straight out of the 70s/80s. Anyone agree? If you’re younger please please don’t vote! This is about how fashion goes around in circles and not a comment on Tom Holland looking awful or not. But its weird having to see fashion repeating itself so quickly - is this because of the internet, because a new fashion can be distributed globally so fast? Would love a discussion, but equally accept everyone may not be so fascinated! I’m a psychology grad - always examine society!
