I keep seeing an advert on here featuring Annabel Karmel. I doubt it's aimed only at me as I never cook anything.

Every time I see it I think it's the actress Sue Johnston.

It's like Annabel Karmel has asked her surgeon to make her look more like Sue Johnston.

I think when people keep having plastic surgery they all end up looking alike. I can see Nicole Kidman in there as well.

Ah... don’t get the Carol Vorderman comparison but I thought it was Shelley Long (Cheers). Now this has been posted I know who it is!

I thought it was carol vorderman too! As an aside though, anyone watched the Cockfields? It’s bloody wonderful - sue johnston is like my actual mum, it’s uncanny. Anyway watch it, it’s brilliant

I think she’s actually flat chested and they are chicken fillets . No one has tits that high!

I tried a whole book of AK recipes and my DD liked none of them. To be fair DD is (still, at 15 ) unbelievably fussy and didn't like 99% of stuff I made when she was a baby, so I can't hold AK entirely responsible.

And yes I've seen the ad but I'm thinking more Carol Vorderman.

I also think she looks like Sue Johnston! I just feel bad saying it because Sue is brilliant and AK is a dick.

Definitely thought Carol Vorderman. They look so similar and I’m sure they didn’t use to.

The ad popped up on this thread and yes, saw Sue Johnson straight away.

Fond memories of hours in the kitchen peeling, boiling, blending, spooning into ice cube trays, only for most of it to end up in the bin.

Courgette, pea and potato souper was a rare hit though.

I thought it was a knakered Amanda Holden.

I love this, I thought she had had an inordinate amount of surgery in the millisecond glimpse I saw the other day.

I bought one of her toddler books for dd1 (now nearly 16), discovered she had a cmp allergy and most of the "recipes" were no good as lots of butter, milk and cheese.

I can see the Sue Johnston in her, I think it is the high cheekbones.

I keep seeing that video and thinking it's Carol Vorderman too. The first time I wondered why she was advertising cooking something, until I looked closer. There is definitely a hint of Amanda Holden too, that sort of oddly-ageless-but-definitely-had-quite-a-lot-done look.

I didn’t know who she was, but the fact she was cooking with her long hair down annoyed me. That salmon and sweet potato cat food looking dish is going to end up with stray hairs.

Yes I think this is a closer comparison than Sue J or Carol V.
