If you haven’t watched (but intend to) or finished Showtrial yet, look away now!

Our household is split 50:50. My friendships group I saw last night are split 50:50, but I’m looking for closure! 😂

AIBU?: Talitha Campbell is Innocent

YANBU: she is innocent
YABU: she is guilty

Guilty, how many glasses did the dead girl’s mum wash up?

WhatsitWiggle · 20/11/2021 22:46

Not guilty. And Dhillon is lying out of his backside about it being a sex act gone wrong.

pastabest · 20/11/2021 22:56

I was 100% convinced that the final shot was going to be of Talitha putting on the green scarf as she walked away.

I bet that is on the cutting room floor somewhere.

I'm down a tenner to DH too Angry

Shock how many was it??
nancy75 · 21/11/2021 01:09

@GroggyLegs I’m sure it was 2 glasses & Dhillon was drinking out of the bottle…
There had to be a reason they mentioned the glasses & showed them more than once

Letsallscreamatthesistene · 21/11/2021 01:15

I cant make up my mind. Im trying not to let my view of her colour my thoughts, but then thats the point of the entire show, isnt it?

Were her accounts of childhood sexual abuse real, or was it fabricated for her case?

Krabapple · 21/11/2021 03:40

I loved the ambiguity. I think not guilty and was hoping for a flashback scene to tell us but am glad they didn’t. Brilliant series with some fantastic acting. The actress who played Cleo was amazing,

Theplantisgrowing · 24/11/2021 23:04

It was brilliant! So many strong characters, I sort of ended up really liking Talitha, is that too weird?! Cleo was fab, the Dad was a great actor too. Can so imagine these dysfunctional wealthy families ....loved it!

MeanMrMustardSeed · 25/11/2021 20:31

I wouldn’t go as far as admitting to liking Tabitha, but she was definitely a complex character who didn’t allow herself to be known by anyone.

The more I think about it, the more I am convinced she is innocent.

Not guilty.

Hannah wouldn't have let them in. And if she was going to complain about Dhillon, when and why would she willingly have had sex with him that evening?

ExcaliburBaby · 26/11/2021 08:30

Just finished this after binging it all week - so glad I found it on iplayer. I honestly don’t know if she was guilty or not guilty - but agree that the evidence wasn’t there to convict. There was definitely reasonable doubt. Re Dhillon- I presume the sex with Hannah was consensual though otherwise there would have been physical evidence of rape. Which is a bit weird given their past history. Also given Talitha and Dhillon did everything together I do wonder if he would have gone to Hannah’s flat without her.

Oh I don’t know!!

FluffyBooBoo · 26/11/2021 09:21

Do we know that she was conscious at the time? I presumed that she wouldn't consent to sex with someone that she clearly had issues with.

Motnight · 26/11/2021 09:34

Not guilty.

I really enjoyed that as an audience we weren't spoon-fed what had really happened.

AdamRyan · 16/12/2021 20:25

I just finished this, I don't know qbout Talitha but Dhillon clearly guilty.

I think Talitha might have been guilty but the story was different to what Dhillon said

I presume the sex with Hannah was consensual though otherwise there would have been physical evidence of rape

The prosecution said hannah was drugged with rohypnol. So they could have gone round there to "clear the air", drugged, raped and murdered her as a pair.
Then used the "sex game gone wrong" defence which backfired on Dhillon but Talitha had no evidence to tie her to the flat so got off.

Anyway if I'd been on the jury I'd have gone the same way as they did on the show.
