DD3 dropped her biscuit on the floor in the car. I picked it up and gave it back to her. Apparently it is dirty now and I have ruined her whole day.

Insisted that DC2 put on clothes to go outside - it’s ice cold defrost your car before you drive weather where we are. End of the world, apparently. Who knew frost bite was such a hotly desired trend.

RAFHercules · 06/11/2021 11:28

I don't have a toddler but I well remember the tantrum because I wouldn't my 3 year old drive the car Grin

Justheretoaskaquestion91 · 06/11/2021 11:29

I was using the loo and wouldn’t let him in. Fucking huuuuuuge meltdown. He was then insisting he had to go (can’t use any of the 3 other loos in the house, had to be mine); so I had to fuck off. Not my most relaxing poop.

CoodleMoodle · 06/11/2021 11:41

DS3 is most aggrieved that I'm trying to play with his older sister. He has DH's full attention but he can't bear me interacting with DD7. He's furious that Daddy asked him what letter comes after O (DS insisted he wanted DH to write the alphabet on then whiteboard).

It's DD's swimming lesson later and he keeps changing his mind whether he's coming with us to watch or staying here with DH. He'll be cross either way because whatever he chooses won't be what he actually wanted, naturally.

Wotsitsits · 06/11/2021 11:42

Put the hot chocolate in the wrong cup.

Greytminds · 06/11/2021 11:45

I put DD (3.5) coat in the car, no obligation to wear it but just in case. Apparently that’s the same as being forced to wear it and it needed to be back in the house. How dare I suggest that her self-chosen outfit of leggings, tutu, t-shirt a size too small and a gilet may not be warm enough.

LittleOwl153 · 06/11/2021 11:52

DS: asked him to pick up his coat and put it on the hook... or take his book upstairs with him... or come to the table for his dinner....

Sorry folks he's 7 it's not just toddlers.

Brenna24 · 06/11/2021 11:55

We didn't have pink marshmallows for breakfast. Porridge, Weetabix, muesli or toast were the given options. She is 3.

Tiddlypompadour · 06/11/2021 12:02

Wouldn’t let him eat dog worming tablets.

HumbugWhale · 06/11/2021 12:06

We had some dramatic flinging herself about and shrieking because we told 4 year old dd she had to put on more clothes than just a pair of Halloween bat tights!

Haudyourwheesht · 06/11/2021 12:09

I get parcels and she doesn't. Even though the contents of said parcels are rarely for me, and the most recent one was clothes for her, some of which she is wearing now. It's still not fair that I get parcels and she doesn't. She's away upstairs till we all learn to behave.

SaborDeSoledad · 06/11/2021 12:10

I wiped her snotty nose. How dare I...

mommybear1 · 06/11/2021 12:10

Because we won't take the pushchair to the fireworks display - he's 4 perfectly capable of the walk. As he has said to me several thousand times on a repetitive loop he needs it Grin.

Mjjbgfessrgb · 06/11/2021 12:39

I wouldn't give them another poppadom. Mine are utterly obsessed with them, aged 2 and 4.

BurntTheFuckOut · 06/11/2021 12:43

My 5YO is driving me crackers with this. This week I’ve had deliveries of -
  • smol tablets
  • a food shop
  • new chargers for DD2
  • text books for DD1

All Hell broke loose each time because I buy everything for myself and she gets nothing

MyBabyBoyBlue · 06/11/2021 12:46

Because I wouldn’t let him wear his coat back to front with the hood fully covering his face so he could have a “hiding walk” along the VERY busy road we live off. Apparently this means I have ruined not only his life today but his life every day forever.

RobinPenguins · 06/11/2021 12:55

I spelt out her name the way it’s actually spelt in reality, not how she thinks it is.

HerRoyalNotness · 06/11/2021 12:58

Whenever I say no to a request. If she starts saying “mom, just listen to me” I know a tantrum is coming

LaBellina · 06/11/2021 13:00

I have not allowed him to microwave several items including the plastic phone standard from the kitchen table.

tcjotm · 06/11/2021 13:05

You’re all monsters 😂

Cathster · 06/11/2021 13:11

We wouldn't give her lunch to her in her hands rather than on a plate.

I pushed her chair in for her.

I gave her chocolate buttons rather than M&Ms.

This is just the last few hours to name a few. It's been a hard morning Grin

EatYourVegetables · 06/11/2021 13:15

I made lasagne for lunch and not “orange soup” which she never asked for.

We had an orange soup (minestrone) yesterday and she screamed about getting the wrong bowl, getting a spoon instead of a fork (for soup), calmed down, picked a few bits of pasta out of the soup and ate them, pushed it away claiming she’s done, then at bedtime tried to argue that she didn’t get to finish her dinner so she can’t go to bed.

Currently DH is ruining her life by AGAIN putting her lasagne in a wrong bowl. (Just for the record: the “right” bowl / plate changes hourly)

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 06/11/2021 13:18

🤣

my oldest is 20, my youngest is 7 but I've still got it, I'm still capable of ruining not only their day or week but their whole life!

toddlers are the dry run for teenagers. 🤣

Phrowzunn · 06/11/2021 13:18

DD1 (4) - asked her to wait a minute while I was on the phone
DD2 (2) - asked her to go pee
Lives ruined.
Mine also get upset that they never get parcels and are also obsessed with poppadoms!

MuseumOfIdiots · 06/11/2021 13:18

Asked my sales team to do the tasks written in their job descriptions. Not quite preschoolers as they're all middle-aged men, but their reactions were the same.
