Did a lateral flow test and there was a very feint line

Now have booked the covid test online but basically had to lie to get a test. It says do you have symptoms, which are basically the symptoms they have always mentioned, temperature, cough and change of smell or taste. Don't have those. When you look online the five symptoms for double vaccinated people are headache, which I have, sore throat, which I have, sneezing, which I don't have, runny nose, no, loss of smell, no. I am however absolutely exhausted and just don't feel right so why do I have to lie to get a test to try and do the right things?

You shouldn’t have to lie to get a test. We have just done one for my daughter who is the same - no symptoms, very faint line on LFT. If you scroll further down the page after the bit about symptoms it asks if you have a positive LFT result and will allow you to book one if you say yes.

Just wondering now how long the results are likely to take…

You are using it to confirm a positive LFT which is a valid reason to get a PCR. A faint line is a line

Sorry, must have missed that bit on the form. I did mine in the post tonight and expect the results tomorrow night. Have had two positive tests followed by two negative tests but taking no chances and have cancelled all my plans for the weekend, which I am a bit gutted about but have to be on the safe side, don't want to put anyone at risk. Mind you mine was NHS Scotland which might have different questions?

The nhs inform website says to get a PCR to confirm a positive LFT

You don't have to lie, but it's not intuitive: when it asks you whether you have symptoms you say "no", and then it takes you on to a bunch of other yes/no questions for the other reasons why you might be eligible for a test (lateral flow, part of a study, last test was void, etc)

Think it's the same set of questions for all of the UK

Is the line coloured, or is it colourless where the reactant has been painted on.?
I know when i had positive lft (previous day had been negative) it appeared more or lesd instantly and was dark.
