I know we’ve had plenty of ‘only on MN’ threads, but this one is reserved for when people state something so blindingly obvious that an amoeba would roll its eyes and say ‘Well duh’.
My vote goes to any thread where the OP is upset that a hairdresser (or grandparent) has cut their child’s hair too short. There will be at least ten replies saying, ‘It’s hair. Hair grows back’. Do they all think the OP is under the illusion that they gave birth to a Girls World rather than a human child? They KNOW hair grows back - it doesn’t stop them being upset that their child looks like the village idiot!
