For some reason, this suggestion from Tesco's has pissed me off big time.

Am I being pathetic or are they blatant CFs?

YABU = It's a price hike, get over it
YANBU = They're CFs but hoping we're too stupid to notice

This happens all the time. Just look at chocolate bars... they've been getting smaller for years.

It's the nearest thing they have to what you wanted so seems a good suggestion to me. And doing it online has meant you've noticed there is less than the last time you bought it.

If you were in the shop I can see why you might be a bit miffed.

That is a very good substitution suggestion.

Usually for that product you would be offered a primrose scented candle, cheese shaped post it notes or a tube of toothpaste .

And yet the product they have suggested seems a close match.
