AIBU to try again so quickly? TW miscarriage

6 week miscarriage. Not much help from the GP, nothing against them, it's just I have been passed from pillar to post and not getting much advice when I'm asking for it.

Had anyone tried again straight away and fallen pregnant quite quickly. My husband wants us to try straight away and I think I'm physically and emotionally ready to get pregnant again ASAP but the research I've seen seems to vary quite widely.

Would be interested in hearing others experiences.

Thanks in advance

I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks and got pregnant again right away. Unfortunately miscarried again at 6 weeks but got pregnant again right away. Currently 18 weeks pregnant. So I've been pregnant 3 times in a row this year (after 18 months of nothing!), haven't had a period since January, but all seems good with this pregnancy so far.

If you feel emotionally/mentally ready and you've not been given any physical reason to wait then go for it. My EPU said they advise to wait for a period for dating purposes, but if you're tracking ovulation then it's not hard to have a rough idea of how far along you will be if you do get pregnant. Wishing you lots of luck Flowers

Oh yes I forgot to say I was temping etc so I knew when I had conceived and could tell when I was building up to ovulation. As I remember I ovulated a couple of weeks after one early loss but more like 3+ weeks after the second. Actually my conception cycle with DS1 (after two consecutive early losses) was very hard to interpret temp wise, unusually, but as other posters have said the dating scan is very accurate now anyway.
