To say it's NOT "social piranha"?!

It's "social pariah!"

I've seen this written quite a few times now, all over social media, and it really tickles me I'd love to see a piranha at a party!

Wondered if anyone else has come across this...

I've seen both used correctly cuz they mean opposite things!

My favourite is 'high rate' when they mean 'irate'

Slept like a glove. That is brilliant.

My teenager's bedroom is like a pig style apparently.

I keep hearing " it exasperated the situation" instead of exacerbated.

I had a lovely dinner tonight. As I got it out of the oven I said "Wallah!"
I never usually step foot in the kitchen. It's a bit of a doggy dog world and I tend to give it a wide birth.
It was time to nip that in the butt. I pacifically decided.

I love the idea of a 'social piranha'.

Social piranha has been done to death. It’s not new.

I've seen it on MN before, but not elsewhere (yet).

I've never used it and know the correct term but 'social piranha' would be great metaphor for my next door neighbour but one. She tries to tear little chunks out of your soul with every conversation.
