So for work we had this get to know you teams online quiz and one colleague (male) used a jokey username for himself "Buster Hyman". Its made me feel all Envy(not envy) and defo have zero respect for him now as I think it shows poor judgement laddish behaviour. But am I'm being massively uptight?

I mean I desperately want to believe that it has a different meaning to what we're all thinking but I can't think of anything else it could mean. So inappropriate

I would speak to his manager in the hope that he would be called in for a chat about professional conduct and making others feel uncomfortable in the workplace.

Aquamarine1029 · 15/10/2021 15:28

Fucking disgusting and totally unacceptable. I would not hesitate to make a formal complaint. This bullshit must not be tolerated.

Graphista · 15/10/2021 15:37

Bosses should have pulled him up INSTANTLY for that the majority of places I've worked he'd have had an instant formal warning. Appalling behaviour

His age is NO excuse either he's an adult he's old enough to know better! Especially in a work environment

If the bosses have been lax and not dealt with this I'd make a formal complaint, this is totally unacceptable

Absolutely disgusting and I wouldn't hesitate to report it.

You are NOT being paid to listen to this bullshit.
