@Bluntness100

Op people know you desperately want to hear they can see a line and some sadly will say they can to try to make you happy.

In those images there is nothing there. Give it some time and go again. 💐

I see a faint line. I'm not saying it to make the OP happy, I actually see it.
RedHelenB · 09/10/2021 08:15

If its positive you'd know. Can't see another line personally.

Fridafever · 09/10/2021 08:22

I can see lines. Too early say what the outcome will be though, I wish you luck.

KarmaStar · 09/10/2021 08:30

No,I'm sorry.🌈

HeyFloof · 09/10/2021 08:34

@belowtheclouds

It's so frustrating the waiting. But thanks all.
It is frustrating. And what we think won't change the outcome either way. But I absolutely understand the need to test early and then want other people to validate.

Have you been on the conception board?

JasonMomoasgirlfriend · 09/10/2021 09:33

Yes I think the conception board may be a better fit
@belowtheclouds you can always ask MN to move the thread or start another if you like.

belowtheclouds · 09/10/2021 09:45

Got a definite negative this morning and these tests were from 2 days ago so if it was something it would show by now. Thank you for everyone's opinions.
@MyPatronusIsACat ffs just because you can't see them. Honestly it's so patronising for people to just write off what other people can see just because you can't.
Maybe your phone settings are not correct, or maybe your eyesight is poorer. There are definitely lines but none of us can say she is or isn't pregnant like you've just waded on here to say.
Of course she needs to wait for a stronger line as these are notorious for evap lines though.
Here is where I see them
Jason you are spot on, that is where the lines are.

I think a lot of people don’t realise that for pregnancy tests, you don’t need a blazing line. So they post quite sarcastic and unhelpful comments.

AIBU really isn’t the board for this thread.

Derbee · 09/10/2021 12:20

And everyone can see lines despite a confirmed negative test today? Hmm I know this is AIBU but I wish people would be more careful about giving false hope to those hoping for a BFP.

Decaffe · 09/10/2021 12:24

I can only presume you have never heard of a chemical pregnancy; it is an early pregnancy loss.

It is identified by positive tests (however faint) in the ‘two week wait’ which then progress to a negative test instead of getting stronger. The woman will usually go on to have a heavier period which may be longer or have clotting.

I had one earlier this week, and, sadly, it appears that this is what’s happened for @belowtheclouds

Please, think before you post. This may be AIBU but it isn’t fight club.

MyPatronusIsACat · 09/10/2021 13:16

@belowtheclouds Sorry to hear your test was negative. Better luck next time. Flowers I could see it was negative though, and I am sorry that some posters on this thread saw fit to build up your hopes when there was clearly no second line on the test.

I bet @JasonMomoasgirlfriend and @Decaffe feel a bit embarrassed now, after insisting there was a second line there. Of course there wasn't because the OP was not pregnant. So how on earth you two (and a few others on here) were seeing a second line, is just baffling frankly. Confused

As @Derbee said, people need to stop this ludicrous and damaging habit of saying 'I see a second line, you are pregnant, congratulations' bollocks, when there is clearly NO SECOND LINE. Giving the poster false hope!

There was clearly no second line, and I shall be expecting an apology from @jasonmomoasgirlfriend, for the rude and nasty way they spoke to me, when I said 'there is no line you are not pregnant.' Because I was right. and that poster spoke to me like I was a piece of shit.

I doubt I will get an apology though. Some people are so obnoxious that they will refuse to apologise, because that 100% verifies they are in the wrong, and some people won't have that!!! Admitting they were wrong, even though they clearly were! Hmm

Yes because they have evap lines! They are so common, I had a fair amount of them.
JasonMomoasgirlfriend · 09/10/2021 13:43

@MyPatronusIsACat there are lines there, they are called evap/indent lines.

As I said, there is no way to say if they were positive or evap. But they are still visible.

Jeez, I think you're the stupid one.

JasonMomoasgirlfriend · 09/10/2021 13:44

Google them.

Derbee · 09/10/2021 13:46

@JasonMomoasgirlfriend they don’t. But even if they did, telling a poster who wants to be pregnant that their evap lines are a positive, is just as cruel as saying you can see lines that aren’t there.

I think a couple of people need to think before they post, but I don’t think it’s me, and I don’t think it’s people like @MyPatronusIsACat

JasonMomoasgirlfriend · 09/10/2021 13:52

@Derbee if you look back, not ONE person said it's positive. What we said was we can see lines. If you're a regular on the conception board you'd know that a line like that doesn't mean positive.
It means it could be a positive or it could be an evap.
Go back and check, no one said she was pregnant but they can see lines. Op saw lines, that's why she posted...

belowtheclouds · 09/10/2021 14:48

Sorry if I have caused an argument. That is not my intent but just at this stage I needed opinions on whether there was a faint line or whether I just had line eyes. I honestly can't tell anymore. I appreciate everyone's comments and wasn't offended by any.

I don't feel silly, or feel I need to apologise. I could (can) see a shadow line on the 3rd test. I've been TTC for the best part of 3 years and have looked at a lot of tests. It would have been shadow enough for me to test again the next morning.

Whether it was an evap, shadow, false positive or the beginning of a pregnancy which then became a chemical pregnancy, I can see something on the third test.

Fingers crossed for you for next cycle OP Flowers

keepingmumred · 09/10/2021 20:54

Sorry to jump on but does anyone see anything on this test?

Yes pic 3 - very very feint.
