To book a table for 3?

So a restaurant (chain not fancy) I want to go to tomorrow doesn't have a table for two available until 9pm but has a table for three available at any time of day. There are only two of us. I've booked a table for three. AIBU and more importantly will they let us have the table?

Ah well panic over they didn't bat an eyelid when I said only two of us and they sat us at a table for two. No idea why we couldn't book the table for two in the first place
