@GermioneHranger ah no.4 the book thing - I'm with you on that! Watching someone fold it so far back you can almost see the pages about to float out.. Confused

WhatsTheEffingPoint · 05/10/2021 23:44

Pens....years of office admin work makes me possessive, plus I have a habit of subconsciously putting the lid in my mouth but not actually chewing!

Visiting our sister office once, i had a distinctive pen with me, left it on my desk, came back and it was gone, I hunted that pen down and took it back...said thief took it because it was 'a cool pen'...yeah I know that's why I have it !!

Onlinedilema · 05/10/2021 23:51

Pens
Special mugs

Rookie93 · 06/10/2021 00:01

My previous car, which was a sports car. On pain of death could anyone else drive it. Luckily DP was too tall to fit in comfortably so rarely if ever felt the need to trespass. Unfortunately that meant we had to get a larger joint car and my baby had to go. Still miss it though and hope it's being well looked after.

WeepySheepy · 06/10/2021 00:52

Anything that goes near my face

Pillow
Phone
Toothbrush
Makeup
Towel

NotMyCat · 06/10/2021 00:54

I can't think of much really. Toothbrush definitely. Water flosser
I have a load of makeup so my friends are "do you have a duo chrome purple eyeshadow but with blue reflects?" And I'm "sure, loose pigment or pressed?" Grin
Pretty laid back about sharing stuff

Pythonista · 06/10/2021 00:56

Everything. My stuff is my stuff and I don't share unless I feel generous and offer. Anyone asking to use or borrow stuff can get to fuck Grin

Unreasonabubble · 06/10/2021 00:59

Towels

Ffs2020 · 06/10/2021 01:00

Pretty much all of my stuff. Some things I can let other people use if they ask first, but other things are a no. I have three special mugs that no one else can use. I hate people taking my charger. I can't stand people trying to use my blanket.

Longdistance · 06/10/2021 01:08

Most of my stuff. I ask if I want to borrow something, but don’t usually borrow as I’ve probably already got my own which is better Blush

BlackeyedSusan · 06/10/2021 01:15

All of them.

I'm autistic. Don't. touch. my. stuff.

Randomneim · 06/10/2021 01:25

I'm obnoxiously protective of my bike. You can have a go but don't Bump Down Kerbs.

ImNotDancing · 06/10/2021 01:32

I hate sharing. So much. Literally do not touch my stuff, I have it how I like it. Winds me up no end

Cwenthryth · 06/10/2021 01:39

@IncyWincyGrownUp

My fabric scissors. My in-ear headphones. My bed.
Your bed?!?

Surely anyone sharing your bed would be there because you wanted them to be!!!

IndecentCakes · 06/10/2021 01:45

My my hairbrush, my toilet, my face cloth, my pillow. The exception is my children, I don't mind them using my stuff as much, I guess I'm just used to the lack of personal space on that front!

GTAlogic · 06/10/2021 01:54

Most of my things tbh.

My phone: I have nothing to hide but that doesn't mean I have anything to share.

My laptop: as above. It's also set up in a certain way and I don't want anyone fiddling with it.

My camera: again, I don't want anyone fiddling with the settings and making it difficult to take a photo next time I use it. I also don't want it to get broken.

My cup.

Ihaveroyallyscrewedup · 06/10/2021 01:59

My toothbrush, fluffy blanket, my v pillow, special mug, my special gin glass, my phone, my laptop, my pens, my huge pristine white bath towel, my shampoo and conditioner, the snacks I bought for me, to be honest I could go, I don’t share!

whereislittleroo · 06/10/2021 03:17

I hate other people holding my handbag - once when our with FIL and his partner, she insisted on holding it for me. To be fair, I was pregnant and holding my toddler so she was trying to be nice, but she wasn't holding it properly and I was uncomfortable the whole time expecting my things to fall out.

I never loan shoes. In fact I don't even like loaning my clothes. Last time I did that, a very expensive dress got returned to me missing 4 buttons and the friend didn't even say anything.

I must say, I want to be generous, but I am not well off and save to buy the best quality I can afford then take really good care of my things. As such I don't like people using anything much. Have been burned too many times. Of course that doesn't include cups and crockery etc when I have dinner parties. Just not clothes, shoes, electronics etc.

ThatsNotMyReindeer · 06/10/2021 03:24

My food. Currently have relatives living with us temporarily and it's bad enough when they ask - can I take a couple of bananas/apples/yoghurts etc. For the kids lunch boxes? - no, be a bit more bloody organised! (Obviously I can't say that) but the worst is when they don't ask and just use it until theres none left when I come to need it. Nothing ever gets replaced either. I work full time and have a disabled child. I organise my shopping based on meal plans and how much i need for the week, as i can't easily just pop to the shop to buy more.

HerRoyalNotness · 06/10/2021 03:54

I don’t like sharing anything. I should be a hermit living in a mountain cottage really. I’m the same as a PP about water bottles. H never brings one, I refuse to share, he should remember himself, as the adult he is. I’ll share with the D.C. but won’t drink from it again. But I generally bring theirs too.

Hate my car being messed with, he’ll get in it for a 5min drive and have hooked up his phone to play music, super loud. What’s wrong with Sirius?!

My eldest will just grab my towel if his isn’t on his hook, the towel I’ve been using. The towel that hangs on the door of the cupboard that stores the clean towels Hmm. Then it becomes his towel and I get a fresh one

LaBellina · 06/10/2021 03:58

For privacy reasons:
My phone

For hygiene reasons:
My earphones
My toothbrush or razor

My mascara or lipstick
My makeup brushes
My handbags

For petty reasons
My chocolate
My husband

KTB19 · 06/10/2021 04:16

My office and computer - I do my writing in there, my study and I work in there when I WFH. It's my happy place and I cant even stand the thuoght of someone using it.

My toothbrush - disgusting to share in my opinion.

My Kindle

Some things I dont mind lending out but I get particularly annoyed if people take my stuff without asking first.

Chicchicchicchiclana · 06/10/2021 04:27

Who shares phones?

I won't share towels with anyone. I have separate hand, face and bath towels which I keep in the bedroom so no one else can touch them.

TrishM80 · 06/10/2021 04:37

My anal beads.

Especially when they don't clean them before returning them, that's just bad manners.

icedcoffees · 06/10/2021 06:46

I don't like sharing anything - it makes me incredibly anxious but that's probably because I have Aspergers. My dad is also diagnosed and very similar in that respect.

I hate it when people touch my stuff Blush it makes me really antsy lol and I certainly don't lend anything to anyone either!
