Sorry posting for traffic can't find the answer on the Mumsnet Covid board or government site either ( really confusing).
If someone is travelling from Hungary to Liverpool Airport next week and are fully vaccinated, my understanding is they have to have a PCR test on Day 2.
Where is the nearest provider in Liverpool City to get this done?

ATMIT can anyone clarify please?
Traveller arrives on Thursday (Day 0) has the Day 2 test on Saturday.
Is going back to Hungary on the following Wednesday ( Day 6). Assuming the Day 2 test was negative do they have to have another test before they are allowed to board the flight back to Hungary from Liverpool or will the Day 2 test be enough evidence.

Are those not bothering to do the tests/faking them by someone else doing them, the same people that are bumping their gums about being unable to do things/go places/lockdowns and restrictions?
It's a bit of a dick move not to bother doing something simple like a PCR test - and the only reason someone could possibly have would be that they don't want to inconvenienced by having to isolate after a positive result (and go about spreading it instead)
This and the isolation checks should have been cracked down on properly from the start.

Totally agree with you user1471447863 the traveller I'm trying to help out will definitely take the test on arrival in the UK.

www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/hungary/entry-requirements

That says that they need a PCR test 72 hours before entering so in that case the day two test wouldn’t be accepted I don’t think

Thanks Sirzy that's how I read it too. I'm just trying to make sure I'm interpreting correctly (English isn't travellers first language) and I'd hate to give the wrong information. That means a test on Day 2 and Day 3.
Day 3 (Sunday) being 72 hours before departure in Wednesday evening ??
