What do you do the day/night before the wedding?

We’re definitely staying together in our house, but other than taking things to the venue to set up, what do we do?!

What did you do the day/night before your wedding?

Decorated the venue. Stayed there overnight with about 50 guests who’s travelled from far away. Got more drunk than was necessary! Loved every minute 🙂

We made sure all the prep was finished by midday and had lunch with friends and family who'd been helping. Then I went to a spa with my mum and bridesmaids, had a massage and then we got our nails done. We then had a quiet, girlie dinner and drinks. It was such a lovely way to relax and recharge.

I took to the bathroom with my to do list and got on with it! Shave, hair wash, exfoliate, face mask etc.

Made up the confetti cones with dh.

We ran through the plan for the next day to check we knew what was meant to be happening when and double checked we had everything.

Early night!

We were printing out the order of services, had an Indian take away and a bottle of my fil home made wine.

Spa!

Takeaway, wrote speech, smoked fags and got tipsy with friends.

Woke up, made my bouquet, got married.

Fab day.

Went to work, ate, watched a funny wedding film and an early night.

Stayed at my childhood home with my sister, mum and parents.

Laughed at my dsis fake tan disaster and had take away and a few glasses of wine.

Finished all the last minute bits, got accidentally pissed by myself, DH arrived back drunk from the pub. We both had a cracking hangover on our wedding day. Happily married for 12 years.
