She’s arguing with my boyfriend over text and he said

“Okay, I know where the door is”

She replied

“I’m done with this”

Did his reply already mean he had ended their relationship? Because she’s driving me mad talking about it non stop.

He text it about an hour ago and she’s just taking it literally like he’s finished it

Yes, basically he threatened to end it/ended it, and she confirmed it.

I'd take it that he's had enough, and that basically her previous message was sufficient for him to think enough is enough, hence him saying he's off and out of the door.

Fwiw, if I had received the boyfriend's text, I would be unsure what he meant. And would've gone on to ask! If I had received her text, I would presume she had ended the relationship.

I'm in my 40s and would read his text as him saying it was over but he was trying to blame her for it.

I read it as him asking if she wants to end it and her saying yes. From the texts it seems that she dumped him.

If neither of them cares enough to have an adult conversation then there isn’t much of a relationship there in the first place 🤷‍♀️
