To take my toddler on a 3.5 hour train journey?

Has anyone ever done it? I want to take her on a toddler holiday. I don't think my phone battery will last long enough to keep her entertained and I think the trains are older ones without plug sockets. It's not just one train but three changes.
The longest she has been on a train is just over an hour.
Any experiences would be really appreciated.

Oh just to add I don't drive and I checked for coaches, but there aren't any.

I used a back pack carrier with mine, when I had to change trains so I didn’t need to unfold the buggy and could climb the stair and not have to go looking for the lift to change platforms.

Both mine enjoyed the journey. I can recommend downloading audiobook stories from the library as an additional distraction.

@gogohm

Did you know that people had children before smartphones were invented Grin

Seriously, colouring books, crayons, toys etc are what we used on much longer journeys, I lived overseas flew regularly with my 2 alone 10 hours.

Yeah they had gameboys. Or before that an extensive family to keep everyone entertained. Single mums travelling with toddlers with no one to tag team with at the other end, wasn't as common.

Very doable...we've done regular longer journeys with DS when he was younger and just did 4.5hr flight with DS age 3 and DD 7mths. Was a doddle.

Galt reusable Sticker boards
Tablet with headphones
Water Magic Colouring book
Galt Funny Faces Sticker Book (he LOVED this)
Fidget toys
ALL the snacks

DS was content just to watch out the window cuddling his teddy and people watch a lot of the time too.

I have bought Anker power banks from Amazon and they have been very good
