Buying second hand handbags .

I am just wondering if this is safe? Obv clothes and so on can be washed .Seen a nice leather bag on E bay .Looks in mint cond from photos . Would it be safe in the bag for a few days under the garden tree? Still a little concerned about Covid you see

And I’m wondering - if you bought a new bag from a shop, would you leave that outside? It might have been touched by the sales assistant/ previous customers browsing? What about your groceries? I would advise you not to eat meat / cheese that has been under a tree for 3 days.

Don't put leather under a tree! The tree might drip sap on it, a fox give it a mauling or get weed on by a cat - all of which would destroy the bag. Have you got a shed or a loft where you could let it rest for a few days if you are worried about germs?
