To think at 25 you’re still young enough to enjoy uni life

Younger sister is going moving into accommodation to. She feels like she will be too old to have a student life. I’m now 36 so my time at university was a long time ago now.

I think she'll probably feel quite old compared to the other students if they're all 18. When I was at uni, we had a friend who was 23...he seemed much older compared to the rest of us to be honest

She will be in mature students part.
And no 25 isn't too old to not be able to enjoy student life (i guess it emans party?)

I'm 25 and wouldn't enjoy uni life at all - but I've got a young family and been in full time work for a long time so it depends on what point she's at in her life really.

It'll depend on her roommates and her personality... she'll feel older than the 18/19-year-olds, and I wouldn't consider the random drink-fuelled fun I had at uni as a good night out anymore, but that's not to say that she won't.

My DH was 30 when he went to uni, which was where we met. He had a fantastic time and loved it.

I was on campus for close to 30 years as student and then staff. The levels of maturity between 18 and 25 is vast. I adored my mature students as they worked really hard and took more responsibility for themselves. If by enjoy you mean get pissed and make a twat of yourself then she may be past that stage but maybe she isn’t.
