WIBU to ask DH to call in sick tomorrow?

Technically not sick but I can’t remember the name ‘family/dependant leave’ maybe.

I very rarely ask. So it’s not common behaviour at all. Once, max twice a year and I’ve either been hospitalised or bed bound.
Last night we got a D&V bug. 3 month old got it first then me, 18 month old is already poorly on antibiotics with an upset stomach and sooo clingy.

I can push through a lot but this is something else, I feel awful and haven’t been out of bed other than the toilet all day. This is the first time I’ve picked up my phone and haven’t been able to watch any shows. I’m properly unwell.

Plus there’s major house renovations planned for months starting Tuesday, loads of stuff being delivered tomorrow and a few workmen coming. Not sure it’s fair to give them my germs.

Would I be awful to request DH use a parental day potentially tomorrow/Tuesday, if I don’t make a miraculous recovery? My head says ‘YABU push through’ but my heart is screaming ‘YANBU please do it!’

Glad to hear you’re a bit better today. Has he got you running around like a blue arsed fly?!

The bonus of ebf here is that they can often keep bm down much better than anything so you don't need to stress so much about dehydration for the baby.

Yanbu, this is what dependant leave is for.
