AIBU? To think I'm never getting my items

3 months ago I ordered some things from a friend who does MLM (i know, I know!)
She promised she'd give it to me when it arrived but every time I see her she says she's forgot to bring it. It wasn't a lot of money but that's not the point.
She's mentioned it a few times before seeing me saying she'll bring it and I'm always told "oh I forgot I'm sorry I'll bring it next time." When I spoke to her 10/15 minutes before.
AIBU to think she's kept it for herself or spent the money and I'm not getting my stuff?

I did Avon a long time ago and always brought stuff to customers and they paid. I was 100% honest and always made sure they got the best offers etc

It was always perfectly ethical imo

Because she needed the money to order them? I don't know how it works. I've never done MLM in my life.. I ordered before from her and never had issues so I didn't think I'd have a problem as I trusted her. I was clearly wrong.

Nope. You're not that naïve surely??? You don't pay people until you get the goods. Have you never used a catalogue, or an Avon lady, or a Betterware agent, (or bought anything from a shop?!)

You always pay for the item as you are getting it, or AFTER you get it...The only exceptions would be buying online, via Amazon and Ebay etc, and there would be a guaranteed refund if the item didn't arrive. Either through your credit card, or paypal (or your bank account...)

You need to go to her house, as some posters have said, and challenge her. Threaten her with the police. She has stolen from you.

Just pitch up at her house hi come to collect my order. If she says sorry not got it them ask for your money, don’t leave until you get one or the other

Then drop the friendship

Report her to Avon.
