I'm possibly the most gullible person going, so I just wanted to check whether this story rings true.
In work recently, a colleague named several high-profile killers who they had encountered in their previous employment, presumably within prison/secure mental health services. This disclosure attracted a lot of interest in the group about those individuals and what they were like.
At the time, I didn't think anything of it. But later, I wondered. If you you did actually have interactions with a notorious killer in custody, surely there must be rules around confidentiality that preclude talking about it outside the facility?
If I work with someone in a professional capacity, I certainly can't talk about it outside work without consequences.
Was it likely just a story to impress people?
