Is it something in the air tonight?

My neighbour has been ranting and raving on his phone (outside, it’s hard not to hear him tbh) for the last 3 hours.

‘D’H has a lot on his plate atm, but has also decided to behave like a twat tonight.

3 of my friends have also phoned/texted/emailed today with similar situations. Is it arsehole season everywhere tonight, or just here?

I’ve NC btw, as I’d quite like a rant.

I think there must be! My husband (not dh to me at the mo!) had what can only be described as a massive tantrum this evening. Something to do with work, don't know what, as I'm not interested. It was in front of our 3yo dd and when he stropped off upstairs, even she shouted "naughty daddy!" after him. I then had to stop her from following him to give him a further telling off! It comes to something when even a 3yo child recognises that you're a being a dick.

I'm usually chilled but this humid heat makes my skin prickle and everything feels uncomfortable, and my boiling point boils over!

Finally raining in London. I do think there’s a lot going on right now. Kids back at school people back to work. Worries about NI increase benefits reductions the awful care funding news (can’t believe the untruths they are letting vulnerable people believe) etc. Sorry didn’t mean to go on. I think we’re all a bit unnerved generally. No excuse for what is being described in here - what is wrong with people !

I saw two fights on my way home from work. Definitely something in the air!

Wide awake here ahead of a 12 hour shift with what I can only describe as the two bosses from drama ville and the last two days I've had to grit my teeth so much my jaw aches.

Also had a bloke having a funny five minutes on the phone today and promptly hung up.

Must be something in the air

@PullTheWeeds ah but was the rant justified? Mine definitely was. Honest!

@Vivana I’m really sorry, we have a few neighbours like that. And some of them are also kicking off tonight I think you can complain to your local council?

@Garriet oh god my sympathies Flowers Gin I’ve taken the MN tip of putting my nightshirt under cold water and it’s wonderful. H won’t listen, so will spend the night boiling... 🤷🏻‍♀️ He’s an adult, his choice!

Does it count if I'm getting on my own fucking nerves?

Susannahmoody · 09/09/2021 00:06

Full moon?

wtfisgoingonhere21 · 09/09/2021 00:07

@RicherThanYew
That just made me chuckle Grin

QuestionableMouse · 09/09/2021 01:23

I had to phone the police on my neighbour's ex because he'd turned up and was beating her up so I'd agree 🙁🙁

Ah thanks for replying OP ☺

I was very mature and had a quick video call with him this morning saying I found it hard that he's not in touch v much. He apologised.

Grey and misty today. Apparently it rained in the night but still feels like we could do with a cracking thunderstorm to clear the air!
