Is it possible to buy an inexpensive fitness watch that actually works with no hassle.
I am trying to improve basic health, and it is to track my steps and sleep and movement so I can see and physio can advise where needs.
I got one from amazon great but it keeps disconnecting from Bluetooth and refuses to reset.
So does anyone know if you can get a decent one preferably on amazon for less than £40 .I have a Samsung phone I would like it to do as this one initially did and be able to have bp and heart rate checked and buzz when I get whatts app and texts.
Am I expecting too much or does a simple inexpensive device exist? If so recommend
Thanks C

I think at the moment with things like this you either pick good or cheap. The cheaper ones aren't going to work as well as the more expensive ones.

Maybe have a look on CEX or even ebay for a decent used one?

I think you are expecting too much for that price. If you want notifications of texts and Whatsapps then you probably need a smart watch rather than a fitness tracker and they come at a higher price.

I've got the Galaxy Fit2 as a basic activity watch. It stays connected well, tracks steps, sleep and specific exercises...I use it with the Galaxy S8 phone.

Amazon looked like they may have one for around £44 but I'd check the reviews carefully, including the seller

Otherwise Argos sell them for £49.99.

Galaxy = Samsung (should have said that)

It also receives notifications from the phone including calls, texts and Whats App. There are basic responses you can programme into it too.

Thanks so much.I don't have any experience with one and sadly neither do any of family.
I just wanted something inexpensive as I am not sporty, or liable to be.
I have health issues and wanted to see what my basic sleep and fitness was like and from that with the help of occasional physio which I work on at home try and improve me and get myself to a better version on myself.
I did buy one with no knowledge and what little it gave me was an eye opener.
Physio agrees it a good idea.
I am not the type that worries about health .
The one I got worked fine for a couple of days and sadly failed .I

Just had a nosy on eBay and you can get a Fitbit Charge 2 (which is the one I have, works fine and can set it to have notifications from your phone although you obviously can't reply like you could on an Apple watch) for about £30.

Works great for me!
