To not understand pulled pork

Admittedly I haven't eaten much of it.

But when I have it's already cold; surely it's in the format that is designed to go cold the quickest which is really not very nice in a burger or a roll.

What's the attraction?

@HarebrightCedarmoon

At first I thought this was a zombie thread from ten years ago. Pulled pork has been around for ages, plenty of time to "understand" it.
🤣🤣🤣

I like pulled pork but only when it’s dry 😂 I don’t like any sauce on it, especially BBQ
You would have loved my mother's cooking then, 40+ years ago, she liked meat to be well cooked and the pork would nowadays be called pulled pork, I used to call it stringy! She even did it with beef, she used to buy joints of rolled sirloin if we were having a family get-together and I wanted to weep at how overcooked it was. Oddly, when I had my own home and she came for dinner she always said how nice and juicy the meat was, even my bloody rare beef.

I'd rather have a proper hog roast with apple sauce and stuffing 🤤

I love pulled pork! I do it in a pressure cooker because I can’t wait hours for it.

Pulled pork, when served hot is delicious

My personal problem with pulled pork is when they get the ratio of sauce to meat wrong. Some places smother it in sauce as if it's gravy on a roast.
