I’m 11 weeks pregnant and had a really uncomfortable stomach pain earlier this evening which luckily turned out to be wind Grin my boyfriends still in work but I feel so relieved now it’s passed and I feel normal again! Ugh that feeling was horrible!

OP posts:

I feel like some posters on this thread are being a bit mean tbh, MN feels like meangirls right now. Just let OP have her excitement. You don't have to reply
Totally agree. There is no need for the nasty responses.

I've reported to MNHQ as I really don't think the comments on this thread are in the true spirit of MN. I actually feel a bit ashamed on behalf of the nasty bullies on here.

yourestandingonmyneck · 08/09/2021 17:29

What's your bf still being at work got to do with anything?

Geneva1994 · 08/09/2021 18:23

@cricketmum84 are you the OP on an old account?

There are hundreds of vile comments on threads on here but you send to overly invested in this one, which really isn’t all that mean Hmm

Geneva1994 · 08/09/2021 18:23

Seem, not send

It really is very mean and unkind.

And no I am not the OP. You are more than welcome to check my long posting history. I've had the same username for years.

@cricketmum84 seems a bit odd to get worked up on this thread of all of them on here. This OP starts dozens of threads about her early pregnancy, all in AIBU, and then often doesn’t come back to them. Some might say that’s not in the spirit of Mumsnet, as they seem quite…provocative.

However, many of us choose to believe that instead of being a wind up, the OP is just excited and as she has evidenced on previous threads, seems to take it all in fairly good humour when people poke a bit of fun.

Maybe you could take a leaf…

If you search the OP's previous posts you'll see this is the tip of the iceberg.

AIBU has been treated to every step of this pregnant so far. [/quote]
Urgh thanks for the warning. Funnily enough I’ve just seen her on the annoying phrases thread. Seems like she likes watching bun fights:

Plus I think the only thing that should be put in Xmas Eve boxes is loads and loads of popcorn so one can watch the bun fights follow over Xmas Eve box snobbery

I'm sorry but you can't expect someone to start a whole post about the fact that she passed gas and there not to be some sort of reaction!
Geneva1994 · 09/09/2021 17:02

She never comes back to threads either but then posts another 3 about other random stuff going on. Bizarre.

WheelieBinPrincess · 09/09/2021 17:53

Presumably doesn’t come back as she doesn’t get the desired response- although I’m not sure what that would be, in all honesty.

healmebaby · 09/09/2021 18:10

this is getting to be a fucking piss take now

Somethingsnappy · 09/09/2021 18:39

Aw, you grumpy old lot, she's just excited!

Congratulations OP! You're coming up to the 2nd trimester, which is so much more comfortable and enjoyable!

Thefaceofboe · 09/09/2021 18:42

You're coming up to the 2nd trimester

Can’t wait to hear all about it Grin
