My favourites are the champagne ones Smile. Every Christmas I buy half a kilo and string them as decorations for my tree -( I may in fact buy a kilo but a few are tested for quality control )-

Trumpton · 02/09/2021 00:39

I bought DH peanut butter Lindt balls one Christmas. He was ecstatic!
They were very spendy, I got them from America.
Oooh they were good!

WomanStanleyWoman · 02/09/2021 01:15

Oh yes; those were amazing. You used to be able to get them, and other unusual flavours, in Whittards - I think they had an official tie-up for a while.

My favourite ever flavour was raspberry 😋😍

HerRoyalNotness · 02/09/2021 01:20

@WomanStanleyWoman

I went on the Lindt factory tour/chocolate museum in Cologne and spent a) the entire time drooling and c) way too much money in the gift shop 🍫🍬🍬Grin

I believe you can usually get Lindor flavours you don’t see on the high street; maybe they’re only made for certain markets or are exclusive to Lindt directly? I remember having champagne flavoured ones, and I think pistachio. I really want to try the mango ones you get in duty free shops, but they’re soooo expensive…

Pistachio Lindt is amazing! Haven’t seen it for years.
WolfFleeceSpotter · 02/09/2021 01:20

Hold on, what is this deliciousness I have been missing out on? Pumpkin spice? Amaretto? Pistachio? Peanut Butter? Need the lot!

I would also like them to do a malted one, like a large Malteaser. If anyone tells me they make them and I have been missing out, I will have to reevaluate my priorities!

FrankiesKnuckle · 02/09/2021 01:31

I couldn't sleep anyway but now looking at the online pick and mix I've got palpitations!
I'd be all over pumpkin spice and peanut butter ones too.

HerNameIsIncontinentiaButtocks · 02/09/2021 02:13

The enormous gold slab bars, I think they're 600g each. As many as you can carry of your preferred types. You won't regret them.

MinnieJackson · 02/09/2021 02:52

Hello, where abouts is said lindt shop please? I'm Herefordshire. Willing to travel lol. I love the original red balls, and m&s do a good version, but a friend gave me a dark choc orange bar. 3 of those please Grin

MinnieJackson · 02/09/2021 02:54

@WolfFleeceSpotter malted is such a good idea!

IncyWincyGrownUp · 02/09/2021 03:23

York outlet Lindt shop is one of my favourite places to waste money.

I like to get the pistachio, hazelnut, caramel, amaretto, and orange.

alwayscrashinginthesamecar1 · 02/09/2021 03:38

There is a Lindt factory shop near where my husband works. It is cheap as chips, we try to only go twice a year. The mango ones are my favourite, my son likes the dark mint, and husband likes the old stylee red ones.

BlueBell50 · 02/09/2021 04:01

Thank you so much for the link and the idea of using them as tree decorations. I can’t wait Grin

I’m another whose OH spent a fortune at the factory shop in Zurich and even more at the pick and mix in Salzburg,

Monty27 · 02/09/2021 04:09

Chocolate. Just chocolate. Any chocolate.
Enjoy OP 😃

MyCatEatsPrawnCrackers · 02/09/2021 05:22

Amaretto? Lindt make amaretto balls? Why was I not informed until now? Shock

There's a Lindt shop?

Noshowwithoutpunch · 02/09/2021 09:00

Just lots of white Lindors for me please.

Rockbird · 02/09/2021 09:03

Mango lindor? What the hell? I'm not googling a route to Birmingham, honest!

Alonelonelyloner · 02/09/2021 09:03

I always thought that Lindt was the cheap and nasty chocolate (I lived in Switzerland - don't judge me. Not by choice!),

but these sound quite nice.

I now live in a different EU country and everyone still thinks cheap and nasty. What am I missing?

ThinWomansBrain · 02/09/2021 09:07

Dark chocolate truffles please - the ones in black foil

ThinWomansBrain · 02/09/2021 09:09

cheap and nasty
Have you tried galaxy or dairy milk?

Alonelonelyloner · 02/09/2021 09:10

I have and they are gross I admit. But they don't have those here so maybe it's a lack of comparison...

billy1966 · 02/09/2021 09:28

@DanielRicciardosSmile

Many many many mint Lindor. They are my absolute favourite chocolates ever.
My daughter likes to drop one into a flat white coffee.....surprisingly yummy!
Ragwort · 02/09/2021 09:29

Thank you for this, loving the website but also off to Birmingham next week, I know where I will be heading meant to helping student DS choose clothes for his first job Grin.

billy1966 · 02/09/2021 09:31

I think cheap and nasty is a bit harsh but having also lived in Switzerland 30 years ago I think it was a smoother and richer 30 years ago.
Godiva chocolates were a surprising disappointment for me.
