She’s just given away a load of clothing as says she is too old for it.

You wear clothes that fit your own body correctly and you are comfy in. Age has nothing to do with it. Same with hair, makeup, footwear and countless other things.

Who is telling her she is too old for things?

She's maturing. Whilst I loved the short skirts I used to wear at 21, it didn't feel right when I was 25. I still love the style of the clothing but at 50 it doesn't feel right. Look at your own style over the years, and that may help you and her to understand the change.

Does she have a new boyfriend or partner who is very keen on her 'acting her age', ie, not wearing things that he deems attractive in case she realises she could do far, far better than him?

Of course she can wear what she wants.

Your post seems to be suggesting that she doesn’t want to wear certain clothes any more but that you think she should?? That would be you telling her what to wear though!!

Who is telling her that?

I changed a lot around age 25. I also did a wardrobe overhaul and found my 'style'.

Now in my 30s a FTM and wear any old thing 😂

Have you never had a clear out op?
