What do folk do when they have a job interview and already at work?

Getting time off is likely to be a problem as it is short notice and we are already short staffed.

I may also need to take a further day for a trial if i am successful at interview.

Ive never pulled a sickie in my life and i cant lie. I don't however want people to know. What do i do?

I'd also ring in the morning and say you're going for a PCR test.

Could your pipes magically burst ? Or the lock on your front door magically break ?

You ask for leave or try to arrange it for the beginning or end of a day. I wouldn't give a job or a reference to someone who'd claimed to be ill when they weren't.

Our company require proof of PCR tests so not an option. I am lucky that i have swapped shifts with someone on friday (which i had forgotten Blush) so i will be able to go then and if im a bit late it shouldn't matter.

It would definitely cause issues if i were to take time off though, i have also got two medicsl appointments that ive had to take time/swap shifts. It very much affects the rest of the team if we are a staff member down and i don't want to cause additional problems.

I just wondered what the etiquette was.
