Say 25-27 personally I’m on the fence as feel. They may be singled out. At the same time though it’s still a young age in terms of life.

There was a mature student (24) in our halls. We then lived out with him in the 2nd and 3rd years. To be honest he wasn't very mature though 🤣🤣

I stayed in ULU halls as a post grad with all years from all UL colleges. I had some friends who were 18/19 I chatted to at meals but didn’t go out with except once or twice. I mostly hung out with other post grads, wardens, some more mature fourth years who’d had years abroad etc. Made good friends. I’d guess age 22-27 ish.

Loads of young people defer a few years to work and save so don't even head to uni until their early twenties
Some courses are long e.g medicine so final year students would be mid twenties anyway
Not everyone is an 18 year old party animal and to be honest no one seems to care

I'm a mature student, nearly 40 and not in halls but I do have a "circle" at uni and our group is a real mix of ages. From 19 to 50. It won't be an issue at all.
