To have not woken DS up?

DS1 is 9, and DS2 is 18 months. They currently share a room and DS2 is in his cot, I just went to check on them as I usually do, and DS2 was in DS1’s bed with him.

DH thinks I should wake them both up and put DS2 back in his cot, AIBU to not?

Why, what's the problem?

GreyhoundG1rl · 21/08/2021 01:16

Why would you wake them both, anyway? Weird...

DramaAlpaca · 21/08/2021 01:17

How sweet. Leave them be.

MrsTerryPratchett · 21/08/2021 01:18

Do they look happy and comfy?

Then do nothing!

I’d put eighteen month old in his cot. Purely because I wouldn’t want him waking and then waking his brother and ruining a potential lie in for me.

DS2 would probably start crying, so DS1 would wake up.

Well, that's a different prospect from DH thinks I should wake them both up.

Put him in the cot

melj1213 · 21/08/2021 01:50

Do you have stairgates?

My main concern with an 18month old being out of their cot would be that they wake up in the night and wander out of the room and potentially hurt themselves.

hardboiledeggs · 21/08/2021 08:57

Oh god no leave them be. I’d be delighted if my kids shared a bed rather than being in mine for a change Grin

drumandthebass · 21/08/2021 09:00

I think it's really sweet. What are your husband's reasons for wanting to wake them ?

LuaDipa · 21/08/2021 11:20

I would leave them. What a lovely big brother. Is dh worried about the toddler falling out?
