Is this a UTI?

Just a little advice if poss. I've been weeing a lot more than usual this week. Sometimes feeling the urge to go very soon after I've already been. When I do go there is always a steady stream and I'm not having any pain. The urine is clear and not weird in any way, but why am I having to go so much suddenly?

I'm not able to get to the doctors this week and aren't overly worried as I'm not having pain but could this be a UTI? What are the go to symptoms and when should I worry?

Please don't take medical advice from strangers on the internet. Speak to a doctor or a pharmacist.

As I said I will struggle to get to the doctor this week - it's already a mission trying to see them at the best of times but this week I'm away for work so even trickier.

Of course I will speak to them if I feel it necessary but UTIs are a fairly common issue among women so just thought I would see what symptoms other women have experienced. I'm aware that any temperature, pain and so on would need urgent medical attention but similarly it says on NHS that some UTIs can go away on their own.

Speak to one on the phone. Speak to a pharmacist, just walk into a pharmacy.

You don't need to be physically present at a doctor's surgery to get medical advice.

It could be a UTI, it could be something else. But no-one here can diagnose you, you need to speak to a real life professional.

Sounds more like bladder irritation than a UTI. UTI usually has offensive urine or sediment in urine. Pain on passing urine sometimes alongside other symptoms of infection at times (temp, feeling overly crap etc).
I would try drinking lots and lots of water to flush your bladder (not tea, coffee etc) and see how u feel in 24/48 hours.

When i have a UTI (unfortunately am prone to them, so quite a regular occurrence) the first sign for me is that my lower stomach muscles feel weirdly tight, like I am tensing them on purpose which I am not. Anything like that? I don’t usually get the smelly pee although it is cloudy sometimes.

I have had instances before where the pain comes along later on and then I am in absolutely no doubt. You can get anti-bios on the internet from Superdrug but its not something I think is a very good idea. I would go along to the pharmacist to have a chat. Don’t leave it.

Only way to know is to do a urine sample.

UTIs are classed as emergency appointments at my surgery. I'm actually just waiting on a call. I phoned at 9am and they are ringing before 12.
I would give yours a call and ask!

A colleague of mine had this and I said 'you've got a UTI, see a doctor' and she didn't and three days later she had to call in sick because she had a UTI.

So you should speak to a doctor.
