Today I waited all day for my gas service. I called to ask why they didn't turn up. "Your street has restrictions and you didn't tell us".

I live on a SCHOOL STREET!! The restrictions are for SCHOOL HOURS!!!

Fuck sake. Rebooked for next week with a note on my account

The crap service in this country is beyond belief. I have been made homeless by Yorkshire Water, who turned off my water THREE MONTHS ago and still haven't got it together to turn it back on.

@TheWristBoundLatexBitch you've provided my learning for the day, I've never heard of a school street, now I shall always be aware in the in London they are a "thing"

It would be fair enough to be 5 mins late due to driving past and calling you to ask for where to park. To just not turn up and not tell you otoh is definitely unreasonable

Well they had both mine and my husbands phone numbers on the system and confirmed they were correct when I called them.

It's the inconvenience of now having to spend another afternoon waiting around again.
