Do you have ugly days?

I'm 25 and I usually feel pretty okay about my looks - I think I'm reasonably attractive. Not model like - but okay.

The past few days I've felt so ugly though.
My hair feels dry, my skin is spotty, I have constant dark under eye circles.

I've also noticed I feel ugly around my period as it's due next week. I feel my face just loses its brightness if that makes sense? And I just look dull and feel tired.

Is this normal?

Completely normal. I feel terrible about my appearance at the moment. No matter how much water I drink (a lot) my skin is crap, dull, irritated. My hair is dry. I look a mess quite frankly and no amount of vitamins seems to help. I dont sleep well though, i'm lucky if I get an hour and a half without waking up. I feel more hormonal than when I was a teen, night sweats, spots etc, i'm wondering if i'm heading for menopause (i'm early 40's). I dont look in the mirror when I walk past, it's too disappointing!

And to the poster above who said men yelled at you in the street that you were ugly, that's awful, I had it done to me and I was crushed. I was a couple of months out of a relationship where i'd been cheated on, first time I went out some little idiot made a beeline for me just to tell me I was ugly. (The thing was, looking back, I wasn't ugly, just unhappy) still remember that feeling though, my self esteem went straight back to zero in 30 seconds! (Can someone tell me how to do that reply to a poster thing)

I look uglier on days when I am in slight pain/discomfort. My face is rather pinched and I have a grumpy look to me. I'm sad about this as I think it makes me seem unapproachable, as if I dislike everyone. I'm sure many strangers think I am giving them judgemental looks.
