To ask where you buy nice clothes for dc?

Posting here for traffic.

So my dc are 6 and 8.

I used to buy mostly Boden and jojomamanbebe when they were younger. But now I just don't know where to shop, they don't really like Boden stuff anymore and Jojomamanbebe is too babyish and doesn't do their sizes anyway.
I feel like they only wear leggings/joggers and hoodies but I want them to still look nice. Where can I buy nice, co ordinated sets or complimentary clothing that looks sensible but lets them feel comfy.

However, I don't like the matching tracksuit look though. Even if it is a sports brand. I currently buy from NEXT but I find it a bit...meh.

And also neither of them (rather annoyingly) won't wear jeans 😩

Thank you.

I like Zara and h and m. If you look online, both have a fair larger selection and have 100% cotton, merino wool or linen items.

stripycurtain · 07/08/2021 10:56

Thank you I might try Zara.

I find H&M hit and miss on quality though

TU at Sainsbury’s

hoomans · 07/08/2021 11:01

Joules, Zara, mango, mint velvet also do a nice kids range.

LakieLady · 07/08/2021 11:01

White Stuff do great kids' clothes. I often buy stuff for my DGD from there.

stripycurtain · 07/08/2021 12:19

Ooh @LakieLady thank you I'll try there. I just remembered fatface too!!

@CallMeRisley we don't have a Sainsbury's here

@stripycurtain there’s a TU clothing (Sainsburys) website you can buy directly from

tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk/

I struggle for DS as well, mainly stuck in next, H&M, Zara, John Lewis, M&S and Sainsburys

I find slightly older children difficult to buy clothes for too. My old favourites - Boden, John Lewis, Fat face etc. don't have that much to offer, and I'm not completely sure where to look. I'm going to check out some of these suggestions 🙂.

Cam2020 · 07/08/2021 12:55

Next or Monsoon?

funinthesun19 · 07/08/2021 13:08

H&M, Next, Sainsburys, Tesco, Asda, M&S.

MinnieMountain · 07/08/2021 13:52

Uniqlo. Our 7yo wears their Heattech extra warm base layers as standard leggings and tops.

Villervalla.

M and S and Joules do some lovely children's clothes. Sainsbury's do good quality clothes. You can't go wrong with the £2.99 dresses from H and M. Some really nice designs. At the end of the day, even at their age, they get dirty playing and they outgrow after one season.

I second Zara. I find everything becomes camouflage or grey/brown/dirge/navy when they hit 7.

arapunzel · 07/08/2021 13:58

I buy JoJo and Boden for DD, but also buying Joules, Fat Face and Next for everyday clothes.

For special occasions looking at Trotters and Rachel Riley
