Sorry if this isn't a true AIBU but I've been diagnosed with breast cancer and I'm facing a double mastectomy (plus reconstruction) - so I need some go to super quick dinner ideas for the family (me and DH, DS6 and DD4).... so what do you go for when you need a quick, low fuss dinner?

Chorizo, broccoli, tomatoes in a pan and some pasta

Instant ramen noodle with veg and prawns, take like 4 minutes and it’s a delicious ramen soup.

At least for the first few weeks you need an alternative that isn't you cooking. How old are the children, some of these suggestions would be suitable for children to do and if you gave a partner they need to step up.

Wonderful ideas everyone thanks.

The kids are 4 and 6 so will help as much as they can.

Just been to see my surgeon who (depending on a few variables) is happy that I just need a total mastectomy and then implant reconstruction at the same time - so shouldn't be an extended long healing time (hopefully)
