To ask your advice on my pcp car

Hope this is OK to post here, just thought I'd be more likely to get a response.
Have a pcp car coming to the end of the 4 years and a 6000 balloon payment due in November.
My options are to pay my balloon payment and keep the car (its got 60k miles - giving back isn't an option). Or take out another pcp for £250 a month (currently pay 290 a month). Dealer says I have a little positive equity in the car at the moment. Needs a service and mot this month, hence why I'm thinking of the options now.
I could, pay it off and it's mine, but I'm worried about the ever increasing mileage and things going wrong. Or take out a new pcp on a brand new car with 3 years servicing /warranty but means I start the cycle again.
I have a Renault captur at the moment and it's always been a great car for me. I could trade in for a new dacia duster.
Would be interested in thoughts, really don't know which to choose!
Thank you.
Voting:
YABU: Pay the balloon payment
YANBU: Take out another pcp

If you are happy with it and it is worth more than the balance pay the balloon. You can buy an extended warranty from someone like Warranty Direct (usually cheaper than the manufacturer). You should arrange the warranty before the existing warranty expires. Used cars are overpriced at the moment so keeping yours is likely to be the best deal you will get

You have positive equity and the car market is booming right now (6 months for a new factory car) I’d trade it in and start again . My DH had understated his mileage and we had £2k of charged. Don’t go for a Dacia though we just got rid of ours after a year for a better car.

Definitely look at second hand and pre-registered cars. We have bought I one year old car with 1100 miles on the clock, we got it for a fair whack less than it would've cost us new and we still have the remainder of the manufacturers warranty with free breakdown cover for that time.

Interest rates are much higher on used cars than new so this may not work out cheaper if going down the PCP route again.

We used to always do pcp but our two cars this time we have done on leasehite as dealers won’t budge on their prices abs we got cheaper monthlies leasing instead.
My bmw had 20k excess mileage and was due to go back July.
We sold it to an online company instead who gave us £2500 more than a dealer part Ex. So we cleared the balloon payment and used the equity money as deposit is on our lease cars.
If we just handed it back, we wouod HVe incurred £2k escsss mileage charge!
So it maybe worth considering.
I always go to pistonheads forums for good advice on things such as this.
For tour info, we used wizzle.co.uk to put our vehicle specs and pics on and a company called the car buying group purchased our car, came out cleared the finance abs paid us within 30mins and drove it away.
Hassle free.
Used car prices are extortionate at the moment due to lack of parts for nee cars and delays with these, so you may want to consider this as a selling option like we did whilst you can. The high mileage on our car was not a deterrent.
WhTever you do, don’t hand it back, they will sting you and make money when you could be doing this for you.

Sorry about all the typos, didn’t check it over before posting! But you get my gist.
