Mine is either a toasted wrap with Nutella and sliced banana with a strong cup of tea or sometimes I go for a toasted bagel with crunchy peanut butter and also with a sliced banana - simply yum!

Hash browns, crispy bacon, soft scrambled eggs, baked beans with a cup of coffee and a glass of orange juice

Lime and soda with ice and a slice.

violetbunny · 31/07/2021 19:04

Snuggling up in bed with both my cats. Sort of like a human & cat sandwich!
Then - pancakes with maple syrup.

LysistrataVickers · 31/07/2021 19:14

Mine was the smoke alarm going off at 3.30am for no apparent reason thus waking the kids (4 and 7) who were then wide awake and did not go back to sleep. Today has been hellish! I'm going to bed in about 10 mins!!

Cherrysoup · 31/07/2021 19:23

Nice crusty bread and a second cup of coffee.

CityCommuter · 31/07/2021 20:28

Yes it doesn't have to be food btw, it can be anything that feels 'treaty'!

Mine's actually sitting down with DH with a cafeterie of coffee - it's the only day we have together.

HalloHello · 31/07/2021 20:43

Sleep in until I wake naturally, some kind of cooked breakfast - bacon and egg/black pudding roll, avo, bacon and egg sandwich, a glass of Clementine juice and a coffee.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 31/07/2021 20:59

Toast from a fresh white loaf done in the breadmaker overnight .
Bonne Maman jam . No butter thanks
Coffee

icedcoffees · 31/07/2021 21:00

Pain au Chocolat and coffee in bed.

Recessed · 31/07/2021 21:00

Pre-children I used to always stroll from my apartment to an amazing cafe for brunch with friends every Saturday morning. Now I live in the sticks and the word brunch doesn't exist and I wouldn't dare utter it for fear of sounding like a complete knob! Now a treat is shoving them in front of Saturday morning tv with some dry cereal so I can get an extra few minutes in bed!

elQuintoConyo · 31/07/2021 21:02

A wank, and then back to sleep.

FloconDeNeige · 31/07/2021 21:07

Treat is almond croissants from the village boulangerie (it is actually a boulangerie - we’re on the France-Swiss border).

But I’d prefer a fry-up! It’s impossible to find bacon and decent breakfast sausages here though, let alone black pudding. So almond croissants it is 🥐

BikeRunSki · 31/07/2021 21:10

Early swim, buy bread from bakers on the way home. Have fresh bread toast, with peanut butter and jam and a cup of strong tea.

Subeccoo · 31/07/2021 21:12

Parkrun followed by coffee and cake with friends followed by a swim

SirenSays · 31/07/2021 21:16

A fresh berry smoothie or salted caramel milkshake.

mafted · 31/07/2021 21:22

Sex without kids in the house, big ones at work and small ones at clubs.

toocold54 · 31/07/2021 21:32

Usually my treats on a Sunday but it’s usually scrambled eggs on toast or banana and peanut butter in a wrap which I’m obsessed with.

Quirrelsotherface · 31/07/2021 21:35

m&s buttery croissants, warm with apricot jam

MrsTumbletap · 31/07/2021 21:50

Sausage and hash brown baguette Or Bacon, grated mature cheddar and cream cheese baguette.

Decent coffee and extra sleep! Heaven.

goddessofmischief · 31/07/2021 22:18

CityCommuter · 31/07/2021 22:23

@FloconDeNeige an almond croissant on the France-Swiss border on a Saturday morning sounds perfect to me! What a lovely place to live!

Same. parkrun and coffee Smile

I've missed it so much over lockdown!

PuntasticUsername · 31/07/2021 23:41

Get up before anyone else, have a nice strong cup of tea and read my book for an hour alone. It's the best bit of the week.
