To ask for book recommendations?

Desperately trying to get back into reading. I used to read all the time but since having kids and the lure of my phone in the evenings, I've not read book all the way through for about 6 years!

I must have started about 10-12 books but I just can't get into them.

Anyone got a recommendation for an UNPUTDOWNABLE (that's a word right??) Fiction book?

I like science fantasy with a good love story - but open to most things except crime/horror - don't want to scare myself to sleep!

Then I would recommend The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet by Becky Chambers. And the rest of the series, but that's the first one.

I agree this is a very good book and I was recommending it UNTIL Bloomimg COVID. If you want to enjoy a good read and forget the past nightmare don’t read this book. THIS IS A WARNING. 😭🙀

I've downloaded The midnight Library so going to start that now but there's loads of great suggestions here so I'll hopefully get through a lot of them!
