As the thread I put up turned down a dark alley, I asked DD’s to ask around their friends what was with the Drynites thing.

Turns out it’s an all-day period thing.

Apparently they don’t leak and feel fresh so if you’re wearing summer stuff like short shorts you’re not going to get blood everywhere and don’t have to worry about changing pad/tampon for much longer.

Who would have thought? DD’s still thought it was odd, but there you go.

Not a fashion thing or kink at all.

Disposable period pants? Sensible idea

Teens would never wear them. I don’t believe this at all. They rustle, stink even when not full of liquid, and and cover the edge of the bum so would be visible under short shorts.

Wearing a pad or anything like Drynights for a whole day without changing is vile. I don't believe any teenager would happily do that.
Certainly my teenagers just use tampons like most people I know.
It's not exactly a big effort to change them.
