To wonder how the hell horses stand up

Just stuck the dressage on.

How the hell are horses able to hold all that weight on those skinny wee ankles.

They look like they defy the laws of physics. 🐎

@sleepyhoglet

How do the horses get to Japan? Not exactly close to the UK? If I had a valuable horse I'd be terrified about taking it abroad
I saw a video the other day but can’t find it now

There’s an article here

Oh, @JosephineDeBeauharnais, I genuinely believed this was going to contain footage of Napoleon trying out a piaffe or two on his own two legs in front of his bedroom mirror. Grin

I love watching the dressage or "fancy horse ballet" as my dd called it. I've always loved horses but never had much chance to interact with them.
The last interaction I had was walking my dog whobis petrified of them, I heard them coming so tried to take him down a path to avoid the horse and rider but then they turned onto said path. My dog was terrified and tried to bolt and it turned out the horse was also terrified of the dog. It was an interesting experience to say the least. And I now avoid that path haha.

DEFINITELY a situation where you'd be able to see an ordinary horse executing dressage moves "in the wild", so to speak! :D

@Hollyhocksarenotmessy

More possibly unexpected facts if you don't know any horses.

Horses are much quieter than films and TV would make you think. Not into random whinnying and snorting.

Their noses feel like velvet. They also have wobbly squishable chins.

They fart a LOT and very often directly at people. On purpose.

When at the stables on Saturday the horse I was riding did a gigantic fart right in someone’s face. To be fair she deserved it. She was being an ass and was right behind horse face shouting at someone.

I swear horse did it on purpose. 😂

DHorse does a beautiful canter half pass when spooked in the school 😂

It's the only time he can be coaxed out of a trot

Sometimes,warm water is all it needs to get a shy penis to emerge. GrinGrinGrin Sounds like good advice!
