We live on an estate that was built around 15 years ago by Taylor Wimpey, a house around the corner has been up for sale for 6 months, on the Right Move listing it’s described as “fully refurbished” but as far as I can see all they’ve done is repaint the walls and re-carpet it. The kitchen and bathrooms are the original ones and look quite dated now, they haven’t even changed the tiles and the plastic on the bath panel is yellowing, if it’s “fully refurbished” I’d expect at least new cabinet doors and tiles. The price is £60k more than we paid for ours last year and it’s the same size house.
