Not to carry my phone to town?

I take it to work for obvious reasons, but in my own spare time - i leave it home. If somebody needs to talk to me, i will call them later.

I always take my phone but I certainly don't answer it as soon as it rings

My husband nearly died suddenly (aged 36) and I think that colours my judgement on the matter. I like to always be accessible now and I still jump out of my skin when I get a called from ‘unknown’.
